With Snaps On-The-Go sending photo cards to friends and family is a breeze! Designed from the ground up for the mobile user Snaps On-The-Go makes it easy to select a photo, zoom in and crop it to suit, draw (or type) a personal note on the back and deliver your message via email. These simple guides will teach you how to use Snaps On-The-Go.
Selecting A Snap
Selecting A Snap
![]() Browse through the thumbnails shown and tap the photograph you wish to use. Snaps On-The-Go will then launch pan, zoom and cropping tools to help you generate your snap. Return to the Instructions Menu.
Zooming Your Snap
![]() Simply place two fingers on the snap and then move them at the same time. Pinch your fingers together to zoom in. Spread your fingers apart to zoom out. Once you've scaled your snap to the desired size pan and crop to finalize it. Return to the Instructions Menu.
Panning And Cropping Your Snap
![]() Tap Select to use the framed portion of the photograph for your snap. Return to the Instructions Menu.
Adding Typed Text To Your Note
![]() While in typed text mode, simply use the keyboard that slides into view to type your message. Because the keyboard hides part of the snap, the text will scroll to allow for longer messages. Remember, however, that the length of your message may not exceed the physical size of the snap. When you are done typing, tap the type|draw toggle again. The keyboard will slide out of view and you will return to freehand sketch mode. Return to the Instructions Menu.
Erasing Typed Text
![]() Of course you can always erase text the old-fashioned way. Select the portion of text you wish to erase and then tap the backspace key. Snaps On-The-Go's shake-to-erase feature is simply an added convenience for mobile users. Return to the Instructions Menu.
Adding Freehand Drawings To Your Note
![]() While in freehand sketch mode, simply use your finger to sketch a picture or handwritten note on the back of your snap. You can draw multiple, seperate pictures. Simply raise your finger to end one sketch and then touch the screen to start another. For best results use the tip of your index finger for sketching. Return to the Instructions Menu.

Generating Your Card
![]() You can add extra text (using the keyboard) to the message by tapping on any white areas around the card. Before you can mail your card you must specify the card's recipients. Once you've specified at least one email address, the Send button will become active. Tap this send button to mail your card. Return to the Instructions Menu.
Specifying Recipients
![]() You can type the email address directly into the field, select it from the list of auto-complete options provided below the field or tap the blue plus button (as shown above) to launch Contacts and select an address directly from your address book (with zero typing). Return to the Instructions Menu.
Mailing Your Card
![]() If your device is temporarily disconnected from the Internet, Mail will store your card and then ship it as soon as a network connection becomes available. Return to the Instructions Menu.
Saving Your Card
![]() Once your card has been saved, you can return to Mail, edit your card and mail it at your leisure. Simply open Mail, tap on Drafts and scan through the list of unsent emails for your card. Search for 'Message Delivery' in the subject. Return to the Instructions Menu.
Discarding Your Card
![]() If you discarded your card by accident don't panic! Snaps On-The-Go stores every part of your card at all times so you can simply tap the envelope button again to generate a new copy of exactly the same card. Return to the Instructions Menu.
Getting Help
![]() Simply tap the HELP tab (as shown above) to access this usage summary at any time. Return to the Instructions Menu. If you would like to suggest new features for Snaps On-The-Go, or report issues with existing versions, please send an email to the Netistry mailbox. |
